The Turkey trip planner builds an itinerary from what you tell it. Give it the dates, the number of travellers, where you want to start and which places you want to see, and it returns a day by day trip with hotels, transfers, guiding and flights organised in a suitable order within the proposed itinerary.

It is not a brochure generator. It knows which sites are near which, how long the drives take, which legs need a flight and where a night has to be spent, so it will not hand you a plan that cannot be operated.

You can send the planner another message to ask for changes. Ask for a slower pace, an extra day in Cappadocia or the balloon added, and it rebuilds the trip around the change.

Trips run from one to fifteen days and start from Istanbul, Cappadocia, Izmir or Ankara.

Yes. The price on a planned trip is calculated from the same services and the same rates as a tour from the catalogue, for the dates and the number of travellers you gave it. It is a price you can book, rather than an estimate that needs to be confirmed later.

That is also why the planner will not build everything you ask for. It only uses services we actually sell in places we actually operate, so a plan it produces is one we can run at the price it shows.

You book it the same way as a catalogue tour, with the same deposit and the same cancellation terms.

Similar questions

Create an account before you design and your trips are kept permanently. They sit under Trip designs in your account, and you can come back to any of them, change it and book it whenever you like.

Design as a guest and the trip is temporary. It is cleared after about 48 hours, because a guest has no page to come back to and the drafts otherwise pile up.

A design is not cleared if you have booked it, added it to the cart or sent it to us to review. This applies whether you have an account or are using the site as a guest.

Registering takes a moment, and it is the difference between a plan you can return to next week and one you have to build again from the start.

Similar questions

The cart holds more than one tour, each with its own dates, travellers, hotel class and extras. You pay for all of them in one checkout and get one confirmation.

It is the way to put a long package together with a day trip, or to book two separate trips for two parts of a family.

The deposit is added up across everything in the cart, so the amount you pay now is each tour's deposit added together. We do not use one fixed percentage for the whole cart.

If the tours run back to back and you want the travel between them handled as one journey, write to us before you pay. Two packages in one cart do not automatically join up.

Similar questions

Four things: your bookings, with the documents and the balance still to pay; your trip designs from the planner, kept permanently; any discounts that apply to you; and your own details, which you can change yourself.

An account is not required to book. Checkout works without one and you get the same confirmation by email.

What an account changes is what happens afterwards. Your documents stay together in your account and your trip designs are kept. Saved details also mean you do not have to type everything again for a second booking.

The Cappadocia balloon flight status page shows whether flights are going ahead. It is the same information the operators work from, published rather than kept in an office.

The decision is made at first light on the day, so the page is worth checking on the morning you are due to fly rather than the week before. Before your travel date, the page also helps you see the pattern of flights and cancellations during the season.

If your flight is grounded you do not need to do anything. The operator tells your guide, we tell you, and the flight is refunded or moved to the next morning.

Reduced tours are collected on the Turkey tour deals page, and each one shows the normal price alongside the offer.

Read the cancellation note before you book one. Discounted and promotional tours are non refundable at any time before departure. This non-refundable condition is part of the lower-price offer.

If your dates are not settled yet, the standard version of the same tour is the safer purchase, because the cancellation table applies to it.
