Should I book an Istanbul city tour or a city break?
Choose a local city tour if your accommodation is arranged and you need sightseeing. A city break can include hotel nights and listed airport transfers as well as guided visits.
Can I visit Topkapi Palace during a short Istanbul stay?
Yes. The four-day city break includes a full Old City day with Topkapi Palace and Harem. Local full-day tours also include them. Check the programme because shorter morning tours differ.
Are flights included in Istanbul city breaks?
The three-day and four-day city breaks described here exclude flights to and from Istanbul. Their included airport transfers need to fit the flights you arrange.
Can I add Cappadocia after an Istanbul stay?
Yes. Istanbul and Cappadocia packages combine both regions. If your Istanbul stay is arranged separately, compare the regional departure packages and check the starting transfer.

The 3 day Istanbul city break starts with an arrival day without guided visits. Day 2 covers the Two Continents route and Bosphorus; the final morning visits the Old City before your departure transfer. It needs a late enough departure to fit that programme.
The 4 day Istanbul city break has three nights at the same hotel. It puts the Two Continents day and the full Old City tour with Topkapi Palace and Harem between the arrival and departure days. This gives the palace its own place in the sightseeing plan.
