This thirteen-day trip combines six guided sightseeing days with time to rest on the Antalya coast. Start with an Old City morning in Istanbul, then fly to Cappadocia for the Red and Yellow Tours. A connecting flight takes you to Izmir for two nights in Kusadasi and the Ephesus tour.

Day 1Arrive in Istanbul Begin with an airport transfer and two nights in Istanbul.
Airport meeting and hotel arrivalMeet the transfer representative at your arrival airport in Istanbul. Travel to your hotel and check in at the normal hotel check-in time. Any remaining time is yours to spend independently.
Overnight in IstanbulCheck in on day 1 and check out early on day 3.
Day 2Old City morning tour and Grand Bazaar Visit Istanbul’s main Old City sights, then finish with time to shop.
Pickup times are approximate.Pickup for the morning tourHave breakfast before leaving your hotel. Follow your guide through the Old City; the morning itinerary finishes around 12:30.
Hippodrome and ObelisksStart with the open square where chariots once raced. The surviving obelisks and Serpent Column help your guide show where the centre of the racecourse stood.
Blue MosqueLook across the courtyard to the domes and minarets before visiting the mosque. Inside, the blue tile decoration gives the building its familiar name. Visits follow the mosque’s prayer schedule.
Hagia SophiaThe broad dome and high galleries show the scale of this former Byzantine church. Hear how the building changed during its later use as an Ottoman mosque.
Grand BazaarThe covered passages lead past shops selling rugs, jewellery and other goods. Browse after the guided morning ends. On Sunday, the closed bazaar is replaced by another shopping stop.
Free time after the tourThe tour ends at the Grand Bazaar, with free time for shopping. The afternoon and evening are free. Lunch and the return journey to your hotel are not included.

Day 3Fly to Cappadocia and take the Red Tour An early flight brings you to Cappadocia for its northern valleys and rock settlements.

Devrent ValleyLook for the camel-shaped rock among the valley’s unusual formations. Other shapes become easier to pick out as you look along the slopes.
Pasabag Open Air MuseumThe stone caps on these tall fairy chimneys stand above a former area of monks’ retreats. See the carved openings as you walk among the formations.
Goreme Panoramic ViewStop above Goreme to see the town among its surrounding rock ridges. The view gives you a wider picture before visiting more of the settlements below.
LunchTake a break for the included restaurant lunch during the Red Tour. Drinks are extra.
Avanos Pottery WorkshopWatch a potter shape local clay at the wheel. The demonstration introduces a craft associated with Avanos and the nearby river.
Zelve Open Air MuseumWalk through parts of the former rock-cut settlement. Homes and places of worship share the valley walls, showing how people once used these caves for daily life.
Uchisar Castle: exterior viewSee the large rock fortress from outside. Openings in its sides reveal some of the rooms cut into the rock; climbing the castle is not part of this stop.
Transfer to your Cappadocia hotelAfter the tour, travel to your cave or stone hotel for check-in. You stay here for two nights.

Day 4Cappadocia Yellow Tour and underground cityOptional balloon Explore the southern valleys and an underground settlement before a second night in Cappadocia.
Hotel pickups begin around 09:30; sightseeing starts around 10:00–10:30.Yellow Tour hotel pickupHave breakfast at your hotel before pickup. If you book the optional sunrise balloon flight or ground watching tour, return for breakfast before joining the day tour.
Rose ValleyThe pale pink ridges give this valley its name. Your guide points out the rock-cut spaces among the folds of the hillside.
Underground CityFollow passages between rooms below ground. Storage areas, ventilation shafts and stone doors show how the settlement worked. Some passages are low and narrow, with steps between levels.
Pigeon ValleyLook at the small pigeon-house openings cut into the cliff faces. Their position above the fields reflects the birds’ former role in local farming.
LunchStop for the included lunch between the valley visits. Pay separately for drinks.
Gulludere ValleyAn optional walk of up to two hours passes rock-cut spaces, orchards and vineyards below the ridges. If you prefer to skip the walk, you can wait in the vehicle.
Cavusin VillageThe old cave homes sit against a steep rock face. Look at the abandoned settlement and the church above it as your guide explains the village’s past.
Return to your hotelThe tour finishes around 16:00–17:00. Return to the same hotel for your last night in Cappadocia.

Day 5Connecting flight to Izmir, then Kusadasi Travel from Cappadocia to the Aegean coast and settle into your next hotel.

Overnight in KusadasiCheck in on day 5 and check out on day 7.
Day 6Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary and Artemis Spend the day among the ancient city and nearby places of worship.
The guided tour runs until approximately 15:00.Hotel pickup for EphesusLeave Kusadasi after breakfast. The sightseeing starts around 09:30 and includes all three visits below.
Ephesus Ancient CityWalk along the excavated streets towards the Library of Celsus and the theatre. Your guide connects these large public buildings with the smaller remains of everyday city life.
House of Virgin MaryVisit the small chapel on the wooded hill near Ephesus. The site is associated with Mary and remains a place of pilgrimage today.
LunchA restaurant lunch is included during the Ephesus excursion. Drinks are paid for separately.
Temple of ArtemisSee the surviving remains of the sanctuary and its reconstructed column. Your guide explains the size of the temple that once stood here, one of the ancient Seven Wonders.
Return to your Kusadasi hotelTravel back after the last visit. Spend the evening independently before tomorrow’s departure for Pamukkale.

Day 7Pamukkale and Hierapolis, then transfer to Antalya Check out in Kusadasi, visit Pamukkale and continue to your five-night Antalya stay.
Morning pickup is approximate.Breakfast, check-out and Pamukkale pickupHave breakfast before the hotel pickup and bring your luggage. The drive from Kusadasi takes about 2½ hours.
The visit finishes around 15:00.Pamukkale and Hierapolis tourJoin the guided visit to the terraces and ancient city. Lunch is included during the sightseeing.
Pamukkale TravertinesSpring water has left white mineral deposits across the slope. Follow the section open to visitors and remove your shoes where required to protect the terraces.
Hierapolis Ancient CityThe remains of this ancient spa city spread above the terraces. The theatre, baths and streets show how the hot springs shaped the settlement.
LunchHave the included lunch during the Pamukkale visit before the onward trip to Antalya. Drinks cost extra.
Cleopatra Antique PoolSee the thermal pool without an extra viewing charge. It is open for swimming, which is optional and paid for separately at the site.
Onward road transfer to AntalyaAfter the tour, continue to Antalya with your luggage. The road journey takes about four hours, depending on traffic and stops.
Arrival at your Antalya hotelCheck in after the drive. This hotel is your base for five nights, with three full free days and a city tour.
Overnight in AntalyaCheck in on day 7 and stay five nights, checking out on day 12.

Duden WaterfallSee the cascade within the green park beside the river. Water reaches the paths near the falls, so take care on wet surfaces.
Karpuzkaldiran WaterfallWatch the Lower Duden fall from Antalya’s cliffs into the sea. The viewing area shows the drop and the coastline beyond it.
LunchPause for the included lunch during the city tour. Drinks are extra.
Kaleici Old TownWalk through streets lined with old houses towards the harbour. The walls and lanes show how the historic town developed above the sea.
Panoramic Boat TourBoard the boat for a view of Antalya from the water. The harbour and cliffs look different from this lower angle along the coast.

Details for the five-night Antalya stay and the journeys before it.
- How much free time do I have in Antalya?
You stay five nights, from day 7 to day 12. Days 8, 9 and 10 are fully free, with breakfast included. Day 11 is the guided city tour with lunch, waterfalls and a boat trip. Day 12 covers check-out and the flight to Istanbul.
- Which hotel class should I choose for a beachfront stay?
Choose High Class for a beachfront hotel in Antalya. Standard and Middle Class hotels are near the beach but are not beachfront. The hotel class does not change the five-night stay or the three free days.
- Is the flight from Cappadocia to Izmir direct?
No. The included day 5 journey is a connecting flight. Transfers are included from your Cappadocia hotel to the airport and from Izmir airport to your Kusadasi hotel. The Ephesus tour is on the following day.
- When can I add the balloon flight?
Day 4 before the Yellow Tour is the scheduled balloon morning. You stay in Cappadocia the night before and return for breakfast before the day tour. The minimum age is 6, with no child discount. If weather cancels the flight, only the balloon flight fee is refunded. Ground balloon watching is a separate option.
- Can I swim in Cleopatra Antique Pool?
Yes. The pool is open, and viewing it is free. Swimming costs extra and is paid for at the site. It is an optional part of the Pamukkale visit before the onward drive to Antalya.
- Is the first week suitable if I prefer little walking?
Ancient sites have uneven ground and steps. The underground city includes low, narrow passages. The Gulludere Valley walk is optional and can last up to two hours; you can wait in the vehicle instead. The three Antalya free days come after these sightseeing days.
