Practical details

Before You Book

The coach journey, the Nemrut walk and the full Halfeti day.

  • How do we travel from Konya to the Cappadocia hotel?

The Group option includes the transfer from the Konya tour to the bus station, an approximately three-hour intercity coach, and a driver meeting with hotel transfer in Cappadocia. The Private option uses a vehicle and driver directly from the Konya tour area to the hotel instead; there is no guide during that transfer.

  • Which day has the optional Cappadocia activities?

All listed Cappadocia extras are on day 2. The balloon flight or ground-based balloon watching is before breakfast and the Red Tour. A one-hour ATV, horse or camel ride can follow the tour; choose one ride that day. Turkish Night is available that evening, with pickup around 20:00. These options are paid extras.

  • What does reaching the Nemrut summit involve?

From the car park, the only way to the terraces is a steep, stepped stone path of about 800 metres uphill. Allow around 20 minutes at an average pace. This walk is required to see the summit statues. After sunset, the tour returns to Adiyaman for the included hotel night.

  • Does the Gaziantep day include both Halfeti and the city sights?

Yes. The early transfer from Sanliurfa reaches Gaziantep before the 08:30 start. The itinerary includes Halfeti, the Euphrates boat trip, Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the castle exterior, Coppersmiths Bazaar and Almaci Market. Halfeti takes about two hours by road each way, so the route fills the day until around 18:00.

  • Which meals are covered during the southeast part of the trip?

Lunch is included on the Nemrut, Gobeklitepe–Sanliurfa and Gaziantep days, as it is on the Konya, Red and Yellow tours. Breakfast is included on all hotel mornings, days 2–7. Dinners, drinks with lunch and extra food tastings or market purchases are separate.

  • Can we reach Mount Nemrut in winter?

Snow and ice can close the summit road and walking path, especially from December to March. Ask us to check access for your travel dates before booking. The sunset visit depends on the summit being open and safe to reach.

  • Which languages and tour types is this tour available in?
    • EnglishGroupPrivate

You choose when you check availability.

  • Can I cancel this tour, and how much do I get back?

Yes. How much comes back depends on how early you let us know: we count the days from your written cancellation to your first booked service.
