Practical details

Before You Book

The Nemrut walk, Sanliurfa stay and full Halfeti and Gaziantep day.

  • Can the vehicle take us all the way to the Nemrut statues?

No. Vehicles stop at the car park below the summit. Reaching the terraces requires about 800 metres uphill on a steep, stepped stone path, around 20 minutes at an average pace. This walk is mandatory, so the access is important when deciding whether the visit suits your mobility.

  • Where do we stay after the Nemrut sunset tour?

You stay in Adiyaman on day 5. The tour returns to the hotel around 21:00, and that night is included. The following morning, after breakfast and checkout, the road transfer to Sanliurfa takes about two and a half hours.

  • What do the two Sanliurfa nights allow us to visit?

Day 6 covers Gobeklitepe, Sanliurfa Archaeology Museum, Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum, Balikligol and Hasimiye Square after the transfer from Adiyaman. Day 7 covers Karahantepe, Sogmatar, Bazda Caves, Harran, the beehive houses and the historic Harran area.

  • Are Halfeti and the Euphrates boat trip included before the Gaziantep flight?

Yes. The early Sanliurfa departure reaches Gaziantep for the 08:30–18:00 full itinerary. It includes Halfeti, the boat trip and the Gaziantep city visits. The airport transfer follows the tour and takes about 30 minutes before the evening Istanbul flight.

  • When is the optional balloon flight in Cappadocia?

The balloon flight is offered at sunrise on day 4 before the Yellow Tour. Separate sunrise ground viewing is also offered. Balloon passengers must be at least 6, with no child flight discount. If weather cancels the flight, the balloon flight fee is refunded.

  • Can the Nemrut summit close in winter?

Yes. Snow and ice can close the road and walking path, especially from December to March. Ask us to check summit access for your dates before booking. The sunset visit depends on safe, open access to the terraces.

  • Which languages and tour types is this tour available in?
    • EnglishGroupPrivate

You choose when you check availability.

  • Can I cancel this tour, and how much do I get back?
