Tour Overview

Finish your 15-day Turkey tour with two full free days in Istanbul. Visit Gallipoli and Troy on separate days, then explore Ephesus and Pamukkale. Four nights in Antalya include both tours and a free day. Fly to Cappadocia for the Red and Yellow Tours before your final Istanbul stay.

The trip begins with two nights in Istanbul and a guided Old City morning. Travel to Gallipoli for the battlefield itinerary, spend the night in Canakkale, then visit Troy before continuing to Kusadasi. Ephesus has its own guided day. The next morning, leave Kusadasi for Pamukkale and Hierapolis, with an onward transfer to Antalya.

Four Antalya nights include a full free day after arrival. Two separate excursions cover the city, its waterfalls and a panoramic boat trip, then Perge, Aspendos, Side and Manavgat Waterfall. There is no hotel change between these visits.

Fly from Antalya to Cappadocia on a connecting journey. Two hotel nights support the full Red and Yellow Tours. Day 11 is the day for optional Cappadocia activities: balloon flying or watching before dawn, one valley ride after the Red Tour, and the Turkish Night show in the evening.

After the Yellow Tour, fly to Istanbul and stay three nights. Days 13 and 14 are completely free, with breakfast included and time for independent visits or rest before departure. Together with day 7 in Antalya, this gives you three full free days within the fifteen-day route.

  • Blue MosqueStep inside the Ottoman mosque to see the tilework and domes. As it is still used for prayer, modest clothing and shoe removal are required.

  • Hippodrome and ObelisksThe surviving monuments stand along the former centre of a chariot-racing arena. Your guide explains how this public space served Byzantine Constantinople.

  • Grand BazaarExplore the covered shopping streets where the morning tour ends. There is time to browse independently. If the bazaar is closed on Sunday, a different bazaar or shopping stop is visited instead.

  • Gallipoli Battlefield AreasLook at the relationship between the landing shores and the hills above them. The guided route explains the ground over which the campaign was fought.

  • Brighton BeachThis stretch of coast offers a wider view of the shoreline south of Anzac Cove. Its flatter ground provides a contrast with the steep slopes beside the landing site.

  • Beach CemeteryThe cemetery lies near the water rather than on the high ridges. Its headstones form part of the remembrance landscape along the Gallipoli shore.

  • ANZAC CoveVisit the cove associated with the April 1915 landings. From the beach, the rising ground inland shows the difficulties faced by the troops.

  • Ari BurnuThe point and cemetery stand close to the northern part of Anzac Cove. Your guide connects this coastal stop with the opening stages of the campaign.

  • Lunch in EceabatA restaurant lunch in Eceabat is included before the afternoon battlefield visits. Drinks and additional food orders are paid separately.

  • Lone Pine CemeteryThe cemetery and memorial occupy ground linked with the August battles. Pause here to learn about the Australian forces remembered at the site.

  • Johnston’s JollyThe battlefield positions in this area were close to each other. The stop helps explain the short distances that separated opposing trench lines.

  • Shrapnel ValleyThis valley connected the shore with positions farther inland. Its name recalls the shell fire that threatened people moving along it.

  • Turkish MemorialThe memorial honours Turkish soldiers who defended the peninsula. It adds their experience to the campaign history described during the day.

  • The NekView the narrow strip of ridge associated with the August charge. The limited space gives context to the attack and the losses suffered here.

  • Chunuk BairThe ridge stands above much of the battlefield landscape. Visit the memorial area and hear why both sides sought control of this high ground.
