Practical details

Before You Book

Details for the longer journeys, full southeastern itineraries and optional Cappadocia activities.

  • Which day is completely free?

Day 8 in Antalya is the full free day, with breakfast and the hotel night included. Other days contain the listed sightseeing or travel arrangements, with any remaining time available for your own plans.

  • Does day 5 include both Troy and Pergamon?

Yes. After breakfast and check-out in Canakkale, the full southbound itinerary visits Troy and Pergamon before dropping you at your Kusadasi hotel. Lunch and entrance fees are included. The Private itinerary also includes the Sacrificial Altars at Troy.

  • How demanding is the Nemrut summit visit?

The final approach is about 800 metres along a steep, stepped stone path, approximately twenty minutes at an average pace. All guests visiting the terraces must walk from the car park; vehicles cannot reach the statues. The night afterwards is spent in Adiyaman.

  • Is lunch included on the southeastern days?

Yes. All four days include lunch: the Nemrut sunset circuit on day 14, Gobeklitepe and Sanliurfa on day 15, the Harran plain on day 16, and Halfeti with Gaziantep on day 17. A licensed guide and the listed entrance fees are also included. Drinks and dinners are extra.

  • Which morning has the optional balloon flight?

Sunrise on day 12, after the first Cappadocia hotel night. The flight is approximately one hour, has a minimum age of 6 and no child discount, and returns before the Red Tour. Ground watching is a separate option with a driver and vehicle but no guide.

  • Are the Antalya hotels beachfront?

High Class Antalya hotels are beachfront. Standard and Middle Class hotels are near the beach but are not beachfront. The four-night stay includes one full free day and two different sightseeing days.

  • Is the Bosphorus cruise private with a Private package?

The lunch cruise remains a shared boat trip with other passengers, without a guide. Your Private package includes a private transfer from the hotel to the boat and a private transfer back afterwards.

  • Which are the longer road days?

Day 4 travels from Istanbul to Gallipoli, day 5 combines Troy and Pergamon on the way to Kusadasi, and day 7 crosses through Pamukkale to Antalya. Day 14 adds a six-hour drive before the Nemrut circuit. Day 17 keeps the full Halfeti journey and Gaziantep visits before a hotel night.

  • Can we visit Mount Nemrut in winter?

Snow and ice can close the road and walking path to the summit, especially from December to March. Ask us to check access for your dates before booking. The sunset visit depends on safe, open access to the mountain.
